Students Explore Dragon Fruit Cultivation on Educational Farm Visit

Mata Gujri College’s Agriculture Department, in collaboration with the Institute Innovation Cell and IQAC, organized a practical learning visit for B.Sc. Honors Agriculture students under the RAVE Program. Students toured the dragon fruit farm of progressive farmer S. Jaswinder Singh in Khant Khman, Fatehgarh Sahib, to learn about modern cultivation techniques. Director Principal Dr. Kashmir Singh highlighted that such visits enhance both theoretical and practical knowledge while introducing students to allied agricultural opportunities. Jaswinder Singh shared insights on income potential, group farming, subsidies, and innovative methods. Dr. Santosh Kumar and Dr. Sandeep Kumar Singh guided and motivated students throughout the visit.
