To encourage sustainable practices and promote eco-friendly alternatives, the Plastic Ban Committee in collaboration with the Department of Fine Arts organized a Handmade Cloth Bag Workshop and Competition in February 2026. The workshop was successfully conducted on 13th February 2026 in the Fine Arts Department, where students actively designed and stitched reusable cloth bags as an alternative to single-use plastic carry bags. The initiative aimed to provide practical skills while spreading awareness about environmental responsibility. A competition was later held on 16th February 2026 to showcase the handmade bags. Entries were judged on creativity, usability, durability, and environmental message. The Director Principal appreciated the efforts, and winners were awarded certificates and prizes.
