Geography Students Complete ISRO–IIRS Online GNSS Course
Geography students of Mata Gujri College, Fatehgarh Sahib successfully completed an online course titled “Overview of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS)” conducted by the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), Dehradun, an institute of ISRO. The course provided comprehensive knowledge of GNSS principles, satellite-based positioning systems, and their applications in geography, remote sensing, and geospatial studies. Director-Principal Dr. Kashmir Singh congratulated the students on their achievement and appreciated their academic enthusiasm. Dr. Anupreet Singh Tiwana, Head of the Geography Department, motivated students to continue participating in national-level space science and research programmes. Prof. Lovepreet Singh, Course Coordinator, guided the students throughout the online training and examination process. A total of 14 students were awarded certificates by IIRS–ISRO after successfully completing the course.
