Mata Gujri College Holds 17th Academic Council Meeting for Session 2026–2027

Mata Gujri College organized the 17th Meeting of the Academic Council under the chairmanship of Principal Dr. Bikramjit Singh. During the meeting, the Council approved the syllabi recommended by the Boards of Studies of various departments for the Academic Session 2026–2027 and deliberated on several key academic matters aimed at further enhancing the quality of education. Constructive decisions were taken to modernize the teaching-learning process, strengthen practical and skill-based education, provide greater flexibility in subject selection, and address emerging educational priorities in the era of Artificial Intelligence. Discussions also focused on cybersecurity, ethical values, and other contemporary academic concerns. The meeting was attended by distinguished academic experts, including representatives of the Vice Chancellor of Punjabi University, Patiala, Prof. Dr. Vinay Kumar Gupta (Mechanical Engineering) and Prof. Dr. Raman Maini (Computer Science & Engineering), along with Dr. Rajinder Kaur, Principal of Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College for Girls, Jhar Sahib, Advocate Jatinderpal Singh Batra from District Court, Fatehgarh Sahib, heads of various departments, and other members of the Academic Council.
