Mata Gujri College Celebrates World Food Day with Enthusiasm and Innovation

The Department of Food Technology, Mata Gujri College, Fatehgarh Sahib, celebrated World Food Day on 16th October 2025 in collaboration with the Institute Innovation Cell. The event aimed to raise awareness about nutritious food, food security, and sustainable eating practices. Principal Dr. Kashmir Singh inaugurated the celebration and emphasized mindful eating and food sustainability. Various competitions like Cooking Without Fire, Salad Making, and Food Quiz showcased students’ creativity and knowledge. The event, guided by Dr. Ajay Singh and coordinated by Prof. Amandeep Kaur, concluded successfully, promoting healthy habits and the importance of reducing food wastage.
