The Department of Fine Arts and the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication of Mata Gujri College organized a special educational visit and photography competition for students at the historic Aam Khas Bagh, Sirhind. The event was held during the “Punjab Sakhi Shakti Mela,” organized by the District Administration, Fatehgarh Sahib. The primary objective of the visit was to enhance students’ photography skills, encourage creative thinking, and provide them with an opportunity to explore and appreciate their rich cultural heritage. Students actively participated in capturing vibrant moments of the fair and the architectural beauty of the historical site. The initiative proved to be an enriching learning experience, blending practical exposure with cultural awareness.
