The Post Graduate Department of Journalism and Mass Communication of Mata Gujri College organised a debate competition titled “Orators Arena” for B.A. (Hons.) J.M.C.-I students. The event aimed to provide a dynamic platform for budding journalists to articulate their thoughts confidently and critically. Students participated enthusiastically, presenting well-structured arguments on current affairs and pressing social issues. The competition encouraged analytical thinking, public speaking skills, and awareness of contemporary challenges. It also fostered confidence, clarity of expression, and healthy intellectual discussion among participants. Faculty members appreciated the students’ efforts and emphasized the importance of such activities in shaping responsible and informed media professionals. The event proved to be an engaging and enriching learning experience for all participants.
