The P.G. Department of Physics, Mata Gujri College, Fatehgarh Sahib, organized a guest lecture on the occasion of National Space Day. Dr. Doordarshi Singh, Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College, Fatehgarh Sahib, was the resource person. He delivered an enlightening lecture on “Understanding the Science of Universe and Ancient System of Celestial Interpretation: Vedic Astronomy.” Around seventy students from B.Sc. Non-Medical and M.Sc. Physics attended the session. Dr. Singh shared valuable insights about the universe, stars, galaxies and mysteries of space, beautifully connecting modern scientific understanding with ancient celestial traditions. His engaging discussion encouraged students to explore space from a new perspective.
